In Lviv region, a truck drove into a multi-storey building – police are establishing the circumstances
It is known that the driver of the vehicle was injured in the accident. The facade of the house was damaged.
The road accident occurred today, 23 June, around 21.00, on Myr Street in Pustomyty.
It has been preliminarily established that the driver of a DAF truck with a semi-trailer, a 45-year-old resident of Drohobych, lost control and drove into a five-storey building.
As a result of the accident, the truck driver was injured and taken to hospital, where doctors are establishing his diagnosis. The building’s facade and window were damaged.
The accident could have been caused by a malfunction in the braking system of the road train.
An investigative team is working at the scene. Law enforcers are establishing the circumstances of the accident, and the issue of legal classification of the incident is being resolved.
