A delegation from the Japanese Red Cross, led by Kentaro Nagazumi, visited Lviv.
The delegation visited the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center in Bryukhovychi, to which 2.5 million euros were allocated. They also met with Lviv’s mayor Andriy Sadovyi. “We need and value your help… We must quickly rebuild the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center in Bryukhovychi,” Sadovyi noted.
Kentaro Nagazumi, Director General of the Society’s International Department, expressed pride in cooperating with Ukraine. He thanked for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine during this challenging time.
Reconstruction of the center began in April this year and is supported by international partners such as the governments of Lithuania and Germany. The project aims to expand the center’s area from 5,124 m² to 9,101 m². The completion of the work is planned for November 2025.
